In this tutorial, I am explaining the steps to generate an ER Diagram using Toad for Oracle.

Follow These Steps to Generate An ER Diagram using Toad

  1. In Toad, connect to your database schema for which you want to generate the ER Diagram.
  2. Then click on the menu Database > Reports > ER Diagram, and the ER Diagram window will open.
  3. Now click on the Add Objects button and select the tables and then click on the OK button, as shown in the below image.

Generate ER Diagram using Toad for Oracle

  1. After clicking on the OK button, it will generate the ER Diagram as shown in below image. You can use the toolbar buttons like, Create Note Line and Create Diagram Title to add the notes and title to your diagram. After completing the changes click on the Save button to save the ER diagram.
